The Silent Auction is a fun part of the Governor’s Conference. The Silent Auction kicks off Thursday at 7:00 am and bidding concludes promptly at 4:00 pm. Auction items offer a wide range of offerings, such as ticket packages to resort and amusement parks, restaurant gift certificates, sports memorabilia, artwork, and handcrafted items, to name just a few. Anyone may provide an item during the conference for the auction. And of course, all are encouraged to bid!
ALL proceeds from the Silent Auction are utilized to support Scholastic Achievement for Education Awards, or SAFE Awards, to undergraduate and graduate university students matriculating in the disciplines of occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, or a closely related field.
