36th Annual Governor's Safety and Health Conference and Exposition

OSHA 7115
Lockout / Tagout
Presented by Eastern Kentucky University, OSHA Training Institute Education Center
Part 1: Monday, 12:30-5:00 pm
Part 2: Tuesday, 8:00-11:45 am
This class covers the role and responsibility of the employer to develop and implement an energy control program, or lock-out / tagout, for the protection of workers while performing servicing and maintenance activities on machinery and equipment.  Upon completion, attendees will have the ability to explain the importance of energy control programs, procedures, training, audits, and methods of controlling hazardous energy.

Attendees that successfully complete this class will receive the OSHA 7115 Certificate of Completion.  This class begins Monday, May 4 at 12:30 pm and continues Tuesday, May 5 at 8:00 am.  Attendees must participate in the entire duration of both classes to be eligible for testing, training credit, and certificate.  This class is limited to the first forty (40) paid registrants.  You can select the class during the registration process and each class is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Although it is highly unlikely, KSHN reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet the minimum number of students.  But that never happens; classes fill quickly so register early!
