Kyle Wolf has been with the Department of Homeland Security for over eleven (11) years serving in several different capacities. He currently serves as the Supervisory Protective Security Advisor (SPSA) for Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama; while still performing the duties of Protective Security Advisor (PSA) for Kentucky where he resides. Mr. Wolf supports homeland security efforts and contributes to the development of the national risk picture by identifying, assessing and monitoring risks to critical infrastructure assets.
As a SPSA/PSA, Kyle supervises, facilitates, coordinates, and performs vulnerability assessments for critical infrastructure and provides physical and cyber security resources to Federal, State, local law enforcement agencies, and the private sector. In addition, he conducts incident response and supports special events during planning and game-day execution.
Prior to joining DHS, Kyle served in the Combat Support Contingency Operations Division of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency where he provided Combatant Commanders with the capability to search for, locate, and identify lost or stolen radiological devices, radioactive material and could assist in the recapture of Weapons of Mass Destruction in any operational and physical environment.
Kyle spent twenty (20) years as a Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician where he had key operational deployments serving worldwide, including Iraq.
Kyle has a Master of Arts in Homeland Security and Bachelor’s in Business Management from American Military University. He has also earned his Certified Protection Professional certification from ASIS.
